Hi! My name is Porky and everyone who meets me says that same thing, “What a good boy! What a very good boy!” It’s true. I have wonderful manners thanks to my first family, who loved and cared for me for almost 8 years. I’m an English Bulldog guy who walks wonderfully on a leash and likes everyone I meet. Kids, dogs, cats, squirrels – it’s all good by me.
I just celebrated my 8th birthday although my foster mom says she would never believe it if she hadn’t seen my records. I am in wonderful health and I still have lots of energy to play, play, play! My favorite toys are stuffies which I like to use to suckle as well as play catch. I also can chase a soccer ball and basketball like nobody’s business. I can’t figure out why the humans here don’t let me join their team! I am 70 lbs. and some people say that I’m a big boy but I am very respectful of personal space. I don’t need to be on top of you, just being in the same room is fine by me! I love when my foster mom talks to me and I wag my little stubby table every time she comes into the room. I am not a picky guy as far as food goes but I do love people food. Chicken, eggs, hamburgers… I try my best to resist but sometimes I do try my luck to snag a treat when no one is watching. As soon as I’m caught, I go back to being a very good boy and give up my pursuit. I would be great in a home with other dogs or cats or even by myself. Like I said, I’m a very good boy, just happy to have a comfy couch to lay on and be loved.
