I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Hi! My Name Is Chance

I'm in the Recovery Room - I'll Be Available Soon

Take a Chance on Me! Howdy! My name is Chance and I’m a distinguished 6-ish year old English Bulldog gentleman with a heart as squishy as my jowls. My past is a bit of a mystery—I was a stray before the wonderful folks at CEBR scooped me up—but I’ve decided the second half of my life will be all about belly rubs, snacks, and adventure.

My Best Qualities

  • Cuddle King: I live for being close to you. I’ll happily share your couch, your floor space, or your road trip playlist. Don’t worry—I’m far too polite to jump on you.
  • Social Butterfly: I am right at home hanging out with other dogs! I even share my bed and toys with my housemates, Parker and Oakley (both CEBR alumni).
  • Adventure Buddy: Walks? Yes, please. Road trips? Even better! Just toss me in the car and let’s go. (Okay, you might need to bring a cart in case I get tuckered out. Hey, I’m honest about my stamina.)
  • Gentleman-in-Training: I’m brushing up on tricks and learning fast. My goal? To impress you with my bulldog brilliance.

My Quirks

  • Potty Pupil: When I first got to my foster home, they could tell I wasn't really used to the creature comforts of living in a home—I would go potty inside instead of waiting to be let out. Thanks to some patience and yummy treats as motivation, I've done a great job at learning that my bathroom is outdoors although, sometimes accidents still happen.
  • Rough around the Edges: I told you earlier my past is a bit of a mystery, well I came to CEBR in pretty rough shape with scars on my paws, some bad teeth, a nasty ear infection and cherry eye. Thanks to the kind folks at CEBR, we've been sorting all that out! I still have a way to go but I've been enjoying all of the love and pampering on this healing journey. I guess you could say I'm having what the kids call a 'glow up' this summer.
  • Just a Little Barky at Times: Perhaps due to not having people pay good attention to me earlier in my life, I will bark to let you know if I'm feeling left out or want some snacks or belly scritches. I generally settle down after a while but it'd be good for my new home to be understanding of my need to be heard sometimes.

So, are you ready to roll the dice and take a Chance? I promise, I’m the jackpot of bulldog companions—good-natured, loyal, and happiest when I’m by your side.

Love & slobbery kisses,
Chance
