Bulldog Bliss Starts with Bambi
Well, hello there! My name is Bambi, but my foster family lovingly calls me Babs. I'm a sweet 7-year-old bulldog looking for my forever home.
I came into foster care after my previous family made the difficult decision to surrender me because I wasn't getting along with the other female dog in the home. While that chapter has closed, I'm excited for a fresh start and can't wait to find a family that's the perfect fit for me.
As for my weight... well, a lady never tells! Let's just say I'm a delightfully curvy 65 pounds of bulldog love. I'm fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to begin my next adventure with a family of my own.
I'm fully house-trained and know basic commands like sit and down. I do well with stairs, and if there's a comfy couch nearby, you can bet I'll be curled up on it for a good snuggle! I'm still deciding how I feel about long walks. If you ask me, I'd much rather stay inside, curled up with my family. I'm a friendly, affectionate girl who loves giving my foster parents and their kids lots of kisses.
I’m working hard on keeping all four paws on the ground when I get excited to greet people. Loud noises and even the broom can make me nervous. I love my people so much that I sometimes whine when my foster mom leaves the room, and I'm still learning that it's okay to give her a little personal space. I can also be very timid around men until I get comfortable with them. With patience, reassurance, and a consistent routine, I'm continuing to build my confidence every day.
My ideal forever home is one where I can be your one and only pet. I prefer having all the love and attention to myself and don't enjoy sharing my home with other dogs. I haven't been introduced to cats or other small animals, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about them. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion to spoil, I just might be your perfect match!
