I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Mochi

I'm Available

You may have seen her on CBS on Thursday but she’s not quite done with the spotlight. Mochi is our newest star of our NEW Underdog Series and she also happens to be the reigning queen of the ✨Glow-Up✨ 👑

Before coming into our care, Mochi was used for breeding and completely neglected. She arrived skin and bones, covered in sores, and in desperate need of medical care. But look at her now! Momma got her curves back, and she is fully embracing her life of luxury. 💅

True to her name, Mochi is soft, squishy, and super sticky. Once she loves you, she’s stuck to you like glue! She’s sweet as pie, adores meeting new people (she was a total tourist attraction at our meet and greet event on Michigan Ave!), and loves a good belly rub.

So why is she an underdog? Because Mochi needs an adopter who understands that healing takes time.

  • The Quirks: She gets anxious when left alone and needs time to adjust to new places.
  • The Boundaries: Because of past medical trauma, her face and paws are strict “no-no” zones until you earn her trust.
  • The Soundtrack: She comes with that classic, gurgly bulldog breathing. (She’s medically stable, she just sounds like a tiny, congested tractor! 🚜)

Mochi’s foster family has done the hard work of getting her healthy, establishing a routine, and teaching her what love is. Now, she just needs a forever family to take the baton. Slow and steady wins the race with this girl.
