HOWDY, my name is Sully and in case you did not know, I am the greatest bulldog of all time. I’m 3 years old, and weigh in at a robust 72lbs. I get along well with the other dog here, Milo. He even helped me remember not to go potty in the house, so I’m now fully house trained!
When I’m inside with my people, I’m really lazy. My foster dad even calls me Sir Sleeps-Alot. I’m a love bug that loves cuddles and snuggles with people, but I also LOVE to go on walks. When I know I’m going for a walk, my whole body wiggles in excitement. Also, I’m fast when I want to be and you had better move out of my way when I’m going somewhere, because I can also run like the wind. My foster parents are working with me on my manners so I can be more polite and less pushy. I’m working on learning boundaries- my foster people say that not all food, snacks, and drinks are for me. I’m not so sure about this (those snacks look so yummy!), but I’m willing to learn.
I love it when my foster dad cleans my wrinkles with a warm cloth. It feels so good. These bulldog wrinkles aren’t going to clean themselves, right? I have a little problem with drool, so get comfortable with that, and know that most things I sit on will be soaked with my drool. My foster dad doesn’t make a big deal over it BUT some visitors have found it offensive (good thing they don’t live here).
I’ll need a forever family that will be patient with me as I continue to grow into a mature gentleman. Some people might think I’m high maintenance, but my foster parents promise that I’m completely worth the trouble.
