Oh! Hello there, human. I'm Poppy, a two year old former breeding Mama getting my first taste of The Good Life! I might not show it right away, but if you can share treats with me and give me scratchies, you're alright by me. My people say I'm very gentle, I'm not sure what it means exactly, but it sounds like a good thing. I might be on the older side for a puppy but I'm still learning like a young one - things like stairs and walks outside are all new to me and a bit scary, but with a little bit of help and support, I'm getting the hang of them. I'm also making great progress on house training. I'm not at 100% yet, but my foster family says I'm learning every day.
I also just met my first dog friend outside of my old home and we got along great - he shared his space with me and taught me how to play with him.
I'm loving this new life that I'm living and I can't wait to see what else the Windy City has in store for me!
