Hi there! My name is Penelope. I am a 2-year-old, 40 pound huggable bully! I’m the softest bulldog you’ll ever pet with the cutest personality to boot! I’m just such a happy girl who wags my tail with just a look. I love to go on walks and my foster mom tells me I’m great at it! So easy to walk she says, I don’t pull or go after dogs or anything! I don’t know what she means by that but she sounds happy so I’m pleased! I’ve also been stopped on my walks by strangers and I just love it! I get soooo many belly rubs!
If it’s a lazy kind of day I love that too! I’ll just snuggle up next to you and sleep on the sofa…but don’t worry I am your loyal companion! If you get up, so will I! You’ll be safe when I’m around! I am completely potty trained and I don’t chew on furniture or anything so you don’t have to worry if you need to leave me alone. I’ll just sleep until you get home, then you’re going to get the biggest welcome back! I’m talkin’ jumping around, wagging my tail and a bunch of kisses! My foster mom says it’s the cutest thing she has ever seen!
My foster mom and dad don’t know much about me prior to living with them. I was found on the street as a stray but you would never know judging by how loving I am! I do have a foster brother and we didn’t get along the best at first, now we’re friendly but I’d rather be the sole shining doggy star in my new home! I’m still learning how to play with toys and do something called “paw”. My foster dad says he is very pleased with my progress! While my foster parents haven’t seen me with children they say they think I’d be good with them for a couple of reasons. One reason is the neighborhood kids will run up to pet me and I love it! I just wag my tail and I’m in heaven! Another reason is because of how I react to things, for instance you can touch me while I eat or take my food away and I do not get aggressive, I just look up at you with the cutest puppy dog eyes and patiently wait until you return it.
