Hi there! My name is Peaches. I’m 2 years old, and I weigh about 50 healthy pounds now. You see, I was very sick and needed an emergency surgery not too long ago. Luckily a nice vet worked with Chicago English Bulldog Rescue to get me exactly what I needed. I have put on much needed weight and now that I’m healthy I’m ready to find my perfect family!
When I came to my foster home, I was a little scared and unsure, so I stayed close to my foster mom during walks. However, now that I know the subdivision I walk around confidently like a boss. We’re working on me not being quite so confident on the leash- something about me pulling too hard? I’m just trying to get in my cardio. Sometimes when I get excited, I jump up or will gently gnaw at my foster parents’ hands. Not in an aggressive way, I’m just saying “Hey! Pay attention to me!” I’m getting better at this :)
Things are going so well for me in my foster home. I’ve met so many people and have little furry cat friends that keep me company every day. My foster parents say that I’m very gentle with the kitten and the other cat. There aren’t other dogs here, but my foster parents think I might be a good sister to a calm dog.
I love to play with the tennis ball in the yard, chew my bones in bed and play with stuffies in my free time. My other favorite thing to do is snuggle with my humans (so much so, that I often lay on top of them. lol.) I’m also fully house trained. Talk about the whole package, right?
