Hello human! My name is Oso (for those of you who don’t speak Spanish, it means Bear) and I am the most loyal and sweet spotted Bulldog that you will ever meet. I was surrendered at CACC for reasons unknown but don’t worry, I didn’t spend much time there as CEBR took me in right away. I am around 3 years young and I still have lots of silly puppy left in me. At my last check up I weighed 47 pounds but I have been working hard to fill out my beautiful frame. I love my kibble, apples and just about anything I am offered. I also love my foster mom so much that sometimes I can’t help but want to keep her all to myself. I’m working on it – she says jealousy is not an attractive quality in a squishy face like me. It’s probably best if my forever family has good boundaries and is okay with working on socializing me so I like all the humans, not just those who love me the most. I just love attention and I need to make sure that the attention goes to me, Oso!
I am house trained, but I do sometimes leave a “token” of my displeasure when the humans leave me alone. I wanna go too!
I get along great with my foster sister Cookie (she’s a squishy face like me but with an even bigger attitude) and I would probably get along with most any other dog provided introductions were done properly. I even get along well with the cats that run around my foster home.
I love to play with toys, go for walks and chew on my toys or wrestle with my foster sister. I also just love to cuddle with my foster mom or my foster brother. I am a very smart boy and know “sit, down, paw, come” in both English and Spanish. I do need to let you know that I may be small but I am an excellent guard dog. My foster sister Cookie has taught me that the men in the brown uniforms or the blue uniforms with the boxes are not to be trusted and so I make sure they know that I am always on duty. I also do not like small humans – they are too fast, too small and need to stay away from me and my beautiful face. I’d like my forever home not to have small humans please.
