Hey there! My name is Norbert, and I’m a four-year-old English Bulldog guy with a big heart and even bigger wrinkles. Life was a little scary for a while when I was out on my own as a stray, but the kind humans at Chicago English Bulldog Rescue saved me and showed me how great life can be. These days, I’m hanging out with my foster family, and I’ve discovered that my absolute favorite thing in the whole world—besides a good nap—is a marathon snuggle session. If you have a hand free, I’ll probably nudge it until I get some belly rubs; it’s basically my love language!
I’m a pretty good boy if I do say so myself. I’m already housebroken and I know my manners, like how to sit, stay, and come when called. I’m also a total social butterfly! I get along great with other dogs and I’m currently having the best time playing with my foster sister. Now, I have to be honest—I really love food. Sometimes I get a little too excited when it’s time to eat because everything tastes so good, but I’m working on my patience and learning to slow down.
I’m feeling so much better lately, too. I just had a little surgery on my tail to clear up a grumpy infection, and wow, what a difference! I’ve got my bounce back and I’m ready for anything. I’ve had a bit of a bumpy start, but I’m so ready to find my real-deal, forever family. I promise to bring lots of wiggles and even more love to whoever decides to take me home!
