Hi! My name is Niño (which means “little boy”), but don’t let the name fool you—there’s nothing little about me! I’m a 63-pound bundle of love with a huge personality and even more love to give.
I’m almost 3 years old, and I’m the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. My biggest passion in life? Balls. My motto is simple: “Ball is life!” The moment a ball comes out, the rest of the world disappears. I used to get so excited that I couldn’t contain myself, but I’ve been working hard and have already learned commands like sit and stay, which makes playtime even more fun!
My foster parents say I’m pretty close to perfect… and who am I to argue? 😉
I absolutely love going for walks and have great leash manners. Whether we’re on or off leash, I’ll happily stay by your side. Need to run errands? Going for a car ride? Working in the yard? Cooking dinner? Fixing the car? Count me in! I’ll gladly supervise whatever you’re doing—I just love being with my people.
One of my favorite things about myself is that I genuinely love everyone. Adults, kids, other dogs… I’m a social guy through and through. Parks, BBQs, family gatherings, shopping trips, community events—you name it, I’m happy to tag along. My only request? Please don’t leave me home alone for long periods. I much prefer being part of the action.
When my foster family is away, I’m very well behaved. I won’t chew on your belongings—only my toys and bones (which I absolutely love!).
Now, since honesty is important, I should tell you a few things I’m still working on.
I have allergies and am currently being treated for a minor ear and eye infection. I’m also a little anxious, which is understandable considering I’ve had several homes before coming into foster care. While I’m mostly potty trained, I still have occasional accidents inside. My foster family thinks they’re likely related to stress and all the changes I’ve experienced. With patience, consistency, and a stable forever home, I’m confident I’ll continue making progress.
When it’s time to relax, I’m an expert cuddler. I love naps on the couch, belly rubs, and slow mornings—I’m definitely not an early riser! But don’t let my Bulldog looks fool you… I’m surprisingly athletic and love spending time outdoors. I could happily spend all day playing, exploring, or soaking up the sun. A fenced backyard would be a dream come true!
I’m also incredibly adaptable. Whether your life is fast-paced in the city or quiet in the suburbs, I’ll fit right in. I’d be happy as your one-and-only, but I also think I’d enjoy having two-legged and four-legged siblings to share life with.
One funny thing about me—I’m not very food motivated. That doesn’t mean I’m picky; treats just aren’t what inspire me. What I do respond to is patience, consistency, and people who take the time to teach me. I’m a great listener and a quick learner when given structure and encouragement.
In return, I’ll be the most patient companion you could ask for. I’ll happily let you clean my ears, eyes, and wrinkles, soak my paws, and I promise I’ll never try to steal food from your plate. And if you’re handing out belly rubs? I’ll never say no!
Now go ahead… scroll back up and take another look at my squishy face, those puppy-dog eyes, my athletic Bulldog build, and my adorable polka-dot coat with my signature ear patch. I’m truly one of a kind.
All I need now is someone to give me the forever home I’ve been waiting for. Could that be you? ❤️❤️
