Hi there! My name is Perseus, but you can call me Percy. (Though to be honest, my foster family mostly calls me "good boy," "sweet boy," and a bunch of other mushy stuff—and I don't mind one bit because I am an absolute sucker for attention!)
I didn’t have the easiest start in life. I was a bit of a messy, rundown boy when Chicago English Bulldog Rescue (CEBR) scooped me up, but with a little love and TLC, I am officially a whole new pup!
At around 5 years young, I’m a pretty quiet, observant guy. I love watching the world go by, but what I love even more is being right where you are. Consider me your new loyal shadow! If you have a minute to spare for head scratches or belly rubs, I'll be your best friend forever.
Here are a few of my favorite things:
Car Rides: Hands down, my absolute favorite activity. Load me up and let's go!
Meeting New Friends: Humans, other dogs—you name it. I recently visited a foster home with three other bulldogs and had a blast.
Playing: I'm still learning the ropes of playing, but my foster parents got me a Jolly Ball and I am obsessed!
Leash Walks: I do great on a leash and love taking gentle strolls around the neighborhood to sniff out the sights.
Since I'm a bulldog, I come with a tiny bit of maintenance. I had some ear troubles in my past, so I’ll need a forever human who can help me keep my ears clean and spiffy. The good news? I am a absolute dream for grooming! Baths? No problem. Nail clips? Easy peasy. Wrinkle wipes? Pure bliss. As long as you have a few yummy treats on hand, I can handle just about anything.
I’ve come a long way, and now I’m ready for my ultimate adventure: finding a family to love me forever. What do you say—would you like to take on the world with me?
