Hi Everyone! I’m Ernie. I’m an about 6 year old English Bulldog gut, and I weigh about 50 lbs. My foster-turn-forever momma says I’m a very good boy with a remarkable spirit and an even bigger heart.
I was found wandering down a busy street, and since then it’s become clear to everyone just how much I was trying to manage all on my own. I had a severe cold requiring two rounds of antibiotics, had 19 painful teeth removed, and they found an abscess in my mouth! I also needed entropion surgery on my eyes.
Through all of this, my gentle nature never wavered. I absolutely adore people and I get along wonderfully with cats and dogs too.
My momma says my resilience and sweetness makes me so special, and is one of the reasons I became part of their forever family. I get to live the good life now and forever! That’s enough for now, I’m heading back to snuggle on the couch. -Ernie.
