“Heeeeere’s Johnny… P. Cakes!” Hi everyone! I’m Johnny P. Cakes, and I’m a four-year-old, about 55lb English Bulldog looking for my forever family. My foster momma says that I’m a wonderful boy who has eyes only for you or whoever else is directly in front of him (and what pretty eyes they all too)!
I’m very attached to my humans, and I will quietly sit next to you for hours, happy to just be part of the team. When I came to CEBR, I had skin infections on my body and my paws, but those are all cleared up now thanks to my medicated baths.
I’m a pretty happy guy, always in great spirits and I’m also very food motivated now that I’m feeling better (I had to have a mass removed from my rectum area). I like cats and other dogs, but I can become assertive when they start getting attention from my person or try to take my favorite toy.
I’m house trained, and I walk well on a leash, but I can also enjoy a stroller ride too. My foster family says that I’m very adaptable to different surroundings as long as I’m with somebody, but I do have some issues with being left alone. I will need a forever family who can continue to work with me on my separation anxiety- or just never leave me (lol)!
