Mack Attack: Big Smile, Bigger Heart!
Hey there, it’s me — Mack! I’m a 2½-year-old black and white English Bulldog, tipping the scales at 55 pounds and with a grin that could melt your heart (and maybe your snack stash, too). I came into rescue after my people realized I needed a little more attention and playtime than they could give — and boy, am I soaking up the love in my foster home! I’m a healthy guy, up to date on everything, neutered, microchipped, and completely housetrained. I am crate trained, but I’m happiest on the couch with you!
Let’s talk personality — because I’ve got it in spades. I’m a happy, friendly dude who loves everyone I meet, especially kids. I’m not reactive to other dogs at all (I’ve lived with other dogs my whole life), and while I haven’t been tested with cats, my foster mom says she bets I’d be just fine. I’ve got great energy for playtime but am equally happy hanging out and following my people from room to room. Basically, wherever you go, I’m right behind you — bulldog body, bulldog snorts, bulldog charm.
Now, I’ll admit it: I’m a work in progress when it comes to training. Commands? Not yet. Food motivation? Off the charts. I’ll do just about anything for a treat, so my foster mom says I’ll pick things up fast with a little patience (and a pocket full of snacks). I do come when called and am very enthusiastic to please! Just don’t run out of dog treats, and I’ll try to do anything you ask. I hope my forever family keeps up with my learning. I’m smart!
If you’re looking for a big-hearted sidekick who’s equal parts goofy and affectionate, I might just be your guy. I love to play, make you laugh, and then flop down at your feet for some good old-fashioned snuggle time. My perfect day? Couch time, a snack (or five), and hanging out with my family.
