My name is Lulu, I'm an 8-year-old English Bulldog gal and I am A LOVER! I love everyone! Children, men, women… anyone that will pet my belly!
Before I came to CEBR, I didn't get the best care and got some ear, eye, and skin infections, they got so bad that people thought I was blind and deaf! After proper treatment, my fur grew back where it was missing, and it's obvious I can see and hear now- I will even bark at a strange noise and chase a ball! My ear and eye infections are clearing up nicely, and once they're totally gone, I'll be adoptable!
My foster mom lets me sleep in because I do like to sleep, but since I’m feeling better I’m doing way more… like I jumped on the couch even! I can handle SOME stairs but I don’t really like them, so not too many please. I’ve started to run, chase sticks and balls and even wade in the water at my beach (always supervised safely, of course). My foster mommy is so proud that I am showing so much energy but she knows I’m older too and I can only jog for about 15 feet, then I stop to rest. I still get zoomies!
Life is pretty good with someone to take great care of me.
I live with a lab and a cat but we kind of just ignore each other. I go on walks with my lab brother and we do fine there, but we’re not friends yet. Speaking of going outside- I’m totally house trained and always go outside to do my business.
I am looking for a loving home that will pet me A LOT and make sure I have fun and am kept healthy! MY foster momma says I really am a wonderful dog!
