Hello, my name is Maple (formerly Leia), and I’m a 4-year-oldEnglish bulldog lady with a pretty smile, a fairly trim waistline, and I tip the scales at about 52 pounds of pure charm.
I’m what you might call plug-and-play—no drama, no bad habits, no baggage. I came ready to love. I’m super well-adjusted, confident, and comfortable in my own skin. You can touch my feet, my face, my belly—go ahead, I trust you.
Let’s talk house manners: I’m a house-training rock star—no accidents inside, ever. I handle my business outside like a pro, and my foster parents appreciate my… let’s call it “well-organized production system.” You’re welcome.
Now, about my hobbies… I am an elite-level toy enthusiast. I love chewing, flipping toys dramatically into the air, chasing them down, and engaging in a serious game of tug-of-war. I also might have just missed qualifying for the Olympics, but I’m feeling strong about my chances at next year’s water-free dock diving championships—stay tuned.
At home, I take my responsibilities very seriously. My foster mom works from home and I’ve taken on the role of intern. My main duty? Holding down the big rectangular cushion (you humans call it a bed) so it doesn’t fly away. I even provide calming helicopter sound effects (you might call it snoring) to keep operations running smoothly. My performance reviews have been excellent, and I’m expecting a full-time offer any day now.
I’m also highly observant. I carefully monitor my humans’ daily routines and am currently compiling a PowerPoint presentation on household operations. I’ll share my findings soon. Oh, and I’ve named the fridge “Splendor.” We’re becoming fast friends.
As for other dogs, I’ve shown I’m very interested in making friends. I recently met a visiting pug coworker who wasn’t super into networking, but I remained polite and professional. Honestly, I’d love a furry brother or sister—I think I’d do great with the right match.
I haven’t met kids yet, but here’s what I do know: I’m gentle, non-aggressive, and an equal-opportunity lover. Big humans, small humans—I’m pretty sure I’d be happy to hang with everyone, though I’d love a proper introduction to test that theory.
A few honest notes about me (because transparency is important):
What makes me truly special is how easy I am to love and live with. I’m affectionate without being overwhelming, playful but not wild, curious but calm. I’m already settled, already sweet, already ready to be someone’s perfect dog.
So if you’re looking for a low-maintenance, high-reward companion with personality, humor, and a strong work ethic (intern life matters!) I might just be your girl.
