-Edgar and Lenore-
Hi new friends, I'm Lenore (the one with half of my face white)! My brother Edgar and I were recently taken in off of the street by the good people at CEBR. We're really happy to be here, but honestly we're just really happy about everything at this point!
We're both around a year old, and my foster mom says that we're still puppies really. We love to play, and jump, explore, and cuddle up together afterward. We're working on not jumping up so much, since I guess people don't really like that and we can be stronger than we think- we're getting better. We've had to learn a lot since coming to a foster home, and are making great progress being house dogs. We have learned to go potty outside, but we do still have some accidents inside.
Of the two of us, I'm smaller (about 40lbs), but don't let my size fool you, I'm the boss. I'm also more playful and sassy. My foster parents say that I make the cutest facial expressions, and have a silly run where my legs are kinds straight like a baby deer. I guess I'm something of a charmer.
Hi, I'm Edgar and I'm Lenore's brother. I've been told that I have a case of “resting bulldog face” that makes me look kinda grumpy, but I am actually very sweet and love affection of any kind from my people.
One of my favorite things in the world is food! I'm a bit skinny since I had to find my own meals when we were on the street and I never want to be hungry again. My foster parents are trying to teach me that I don't need to worry about that anymore, and that I don't need to scarf down my food, but the jury is still out for me. I'm currently 42 lbs, but people say that once I put on the weight I lost I should be a bit bigger. My paws are big like I have some growing left to do!
There are other dogs here at our foster house. We haven't spent much time with them yet, but have happily played with them a few times. If our new home has another dog, we would probably be fine as long as there was a slow introduction.
My sister and I stayed together during our adventures before we arrived to our foster parents' house, and we feel very safe together. Our favorite activity -besides eating and playing with our humans- is to cuddle up. We are very snuggly!
