Hi, My name is Jenni and I'm a super sweet 15-month-old English Bulldog girl, who will steal your heart with my perfectly wrinkled face. When you first meet me, I may be shy but I quickly bounce out of it and let my fun and sweet personality come through.
There aren’t any other dogs here in my foster home, but at my last home there were a few. I got along with most of them, but there was one I didn’t like very much which is why I’m with CEBR now.
I'm still a puppy and I have energy! I love to go on walks, sniff the world and play fetch. I'm very good on the leash and know to use the bathroom outside. I will let you grab the toys out of my mouth so you can toss them again. I am very playful and sometimes think your hands are toys but if you redirect me to toys (and especially rope toys) I will be good. In good puppy fashion, in the middle of a play session I will get tired and feel the need to nap...right away!
Talking about naps, I LOVE the couch and the human bed. Give me a comfy blanket and I will snooze for hours. I sometimes have small accidents on blankets or soft materials, it's a bad habit I got as a younger puppy, but nothing a good washable pee pad or blanket can't handle. Foster mom is working hard on correcting this with me but I will need you to be patient with me as I learn better habits. I also like my crate for naps and nighttime, it's my safe space. Toss one or two treats in there and I will be the happiest gal and sleep through the entire night.
Next to sleeping and playing, my other hobby involves eating. I'm a really good eater - maybe too good - and love me some treats! Apparently I eat pretty fast, so my foster mom has been putting my kibble in a toy and I love having to "work" for my food. If you are looking for someone to stare at you while you eat, I'm your girl. That said, I have never stolen food off my human's plate (probably because I'm too short for the dining table).
Overall, I'm a very good girl and looking for my forever family where I can cover foster mom and/or dad with lots of kisses.
