I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Hi! My Name Is Georgia

I'm in the Recovery Room - I'll Be Available Soon

Well hiiiii there! My name is Georgia, and I’m a 6-year-old English Bulldog girl who my foster family says is as "sweet as a peach,” which honestly feels correct because I am southern-belle levels of charming. I love people. Like…LOVE people. If you walk into the room, I assume you came specifically to admire me, rub my belly, and tell me how pretty I am. And frankly? You should.

I’m a fabulous city dog and have all the important urban life skills mastered. Loud noises? Fine. Busy sidewalks? No problem. Uber Pet rides? Absolutely yes. Elevator rides? I'm a pro. Also, every city-girl has to have their favorite order at their local coffee shop - one puppuccino for me please!

My favorite things in life are squeaky tennis balls, belly rubs, meal time, getting my beauty rest on the couch, and trying to get you to feed me more treats.

My foster family laughs because I am ALWAYS ready to eat. The second I hear a crinkle, cabinet open, refrigerator beep, or someone even thinking about food, I appear out of nowhere. I also have a very serious relationship with my squeaky tennis ball. I’ll toss it around, pounce on it, squeak it repeatedly, and proudly parade through the house like I just won Wimbledon.

Now, let’s discuss my quirks, because even though my foster mom called me an angel, everyone has them.

For reasons known only to me and the universe, I am deeply passionate about rocks. Decorative rocks. Landscaping rocks. Tiny rocks. Crunchy-looking rocks. My foster family says I “eat rocks.” I prefer to think of myself as a geological enthusiast. Unfortunately, this hobby is unsafe, so my forever family will need to carefully supervise me outside and make sure I don’t have access to tempting little stone snacks. I cannot be left unsupervised outside at all. We are actively working on this behavior, but this is definitely something my future humans need to take seriously.

I’m still working on going long periods of time without a potty break. I go all night just fine, but I need frequent potty breaks during the day.

I also prefer to be the queen of my castle. While I can walk past dogs outside just fine and don’t mind minding my business on the sidewalk, I do not want other dogs in my home or personal space. Honestly, I’ve reached a point in life where I know what I like, and what I like is being the center of attention. I don’t want to share my couch, my toys, my humans, or my airspace with another dog. I would thrive as your one-and-only spoiled princess.

Because I can be sensitive about my space and prefer a calm environment, I would also do best in an adult-only home. I have so much love to give, but a quieter home without children would help me feel most comfortable and secure.

My perfect forever home would be one where I can soak up attention, supervise snack preparation, patrol the couch cushions, and go on little car ride adventures with my people. I don’t need a huge house or a giant yard — honestly, I’m happiest wherever my humans are. As long as you’re ready to love me big, rub my belly often, and protect me from my own terrible rock-related decisions, we’ll get along just fine.

Anyway, I should probably get back to my very important couch duties now. There’s a squeaky tennis ball nearby that needs my attention and I haven’t checked the kitchen for snacks in at least six minutes.

Sweetly yours,
Georgia
