Hey there, I’m Eeyore!
Life didn’t start out too great for me—even though I’m just a puppy, I was dumped at animal control and had to fight through some tough stuff like light parvo, a prolapsed rectum (ouch!), and worms. Just when I thought I was in the clear, I found out I’ve got demodex mange, which makes me extra special because it means my immune system needs some extra TLC. But guess what? I’m a fighter, and with the love and care I’m getting, I’m feeling better every day!
I’m about 10 months old and a blue merle cutie (at least that’s what everyone keeps telling me!). I’m learning all about this big, exciting world for the first time, and let me tell you—it’s amazing! I’m curious about everything and love exploring. I also like other dogs! When I’m not busy being playful and showing off my epic puppy energy, I’m the snuggliest little guy you’ll ever meet. Seriously, I’ll get as close to you as I possibly can, flashing my toothy grin and tiny tongue to melt your heart.
My foster mom affectionately calls me “Eeyore Knievel” because I love to launch myself with reckless abandon, whether it’s onto furniture or into a playful zoomie session.
I’m also really into meal time (food is amazing, right?!), chewing on my toys (and maybe a few other things I find—whoops!), and playing with other dogs. I don’t bark much unless it’s super important, but I’ll always find a way to let you know how much I love being part of the action. I’ve been told I’d benefit from reward-based training, which sounds fun because I love learning new things (especially if treats are involved!). I’ve learned so much already, I’m already pretty much house trained!
My foster mom says I’m perfect—and honestly, I think she’s onto something. I’ve been through a lot, but I’m ready to keep healing and find a forever family who will love me for the sweet, snuggly, and adventurous pup I am. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s full of heart and up for anything, I’m your guy!
