“He’s a beaut, Clark!” My name is Clark, and boy did I get the best Christmas present! Nope, not a Jelly of the Month Club membership, but a new lease on life. I came into CEBR after being found chilling on the streets of the suburbs. But, boy, you’d never know I came in as a stray. I am fully potty trained, know “sit,” am crate-trained, I am great walking on a leash, and ride in cars better than Cousin Eddie pulling his RV into your driveway.
The vet thinks I’m about 5-6 years old, weigh 55lbs, am neutered, and after having my dental work, I am good as new and ready to party. I haven’t met any cats (sorry Aunt Bethany) but I doubt they would be much of an issue. My foster family has 3 other English bulldogs, and while I get along with them fine, sometimes when they play I get a little overwhelmed. I think I might like a furry friend, although maybe a chill one.
What I really like to do is be by you. Running upstairs for a minute? I’ll come. Going to the bathroom? Count me in. Walking to the other side of the room to grab some eggnog? Right behind ya. My foster family honestly can’t believe I’m standing in their living room after being abandoned. Who could give this mug up? But their loss is your gain. Gotta go, thought I heard a squirrel in the Christmas tree. - Clark
