Hi! I’m Gizmo! I’m a 1.5-year-old English Bulldog guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’ve been told that my adorable oversized ears and signature head tilt are guaranteed to make you smile every single day.
I’m sweet, and incredibly friendly and I love to be around people. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing with my favorite toys, or curling up next to you for cuddle time, I’m happiest when I’m with my humans. I have a playful spirit, but I also know how to settle in for some quality snuggles.
I haven’t met other dogs close up yet, but when I’ve walked by them they don’t bother me. I’m about 85% potty trained and I’m told I’m doing great with consistency and routine. Like lots of young guys, I’m still learning my manners. When I get excited, I may jump up to say hello, get a little mouthy with hands and arms, or even hump a bit (embarrassing, I know). With continued training, patience, and structure, I’m sure to keep improving.
One thing to know about me you should know is that I can be a bit scared of cars. I think I’d like a quieter suburban home where he can feel safe and relaxed and there aren’t a lot of loud scary cars. But, I could also do well in a city environment with a secure backyard and the right support to help build my confidence.
I would thrive in a home that can give me guidance, love, and plenty of attention. In return, I’ll give you endless affection, laughs, and those irresistible head tilts that make everything better.
