Well, hello there! I’m Miss Betsy. Your soon-to-be best friend, personal shadow, and professional cuddle consultant. I’m a 2-to-3-year-old English Bulldog who’s traded in my tough-girl days on the streets for the cozy life of the West Loop. You might say I’ve gone from rags to wags! I’ve got a squishy face, a soft heart, and a serious love for snacks.
When I was first found, I wasn’t feeling my best — tired, sick, and a little lost. But with some vet TLC, good food, and a whole lot of love from my foster mom, I got strong, happy, and healthy again. She says I’ve got the sweetest soul… and the loudest snore.
These days, I spend my time soaking up sunshine like I’m at a spa, cuddling like it’s my full-time job, and greeting every person and pup I meet like they’re an old friend. Walks? Parks? Coffee shop patios? Yes, please! I’m the ultimate Chicago explorer. I love the dog park — it’s my happy place — where I get to zoom around, make new furry friends, and show off my best bulldog wiggle.
I’m fully potty trained, except for one polite nighttime pee on my potty pad (a lady’s gotta go, right?).
I absolutely adore my foster mom — she’s my best bud — but I know it’s time to find my forever family: the ones I’ll love for life, snuggle every day, and follow absolutely everywhere. Don’t worry, you’ll never feel lonely again… I’m a certified sidekick who sticks closer than your shadow.
