Hello! My name is Cannoli, and just like the yummy dessert, I’m filled with nothing but sweetness! I came to CEBR as a stray and I have been told I am about 18 months old, a bulldog, and that I weigh about 45lbs (but I don’t know what that means). I also have something called “Cherry Eye” but have been told that is an easy fix. Once I am spayed and have my eye fixed, I’ll be ready to find my forever home!
I absolutely LOVE to play. I love my toys but I really enjoy running around the yard and playing tag with my foster sister and dad. I am very good at climbing stairs and sometimes take them 3 at a time. According to my foster dad, I get this thing called “the zoomies” a lot. I’m not sure what that means but I think it has something to do with me running from room to room, jumping over the back of the couch, and trying to see how fast I can take a full lap around the yard. If I keep training, I’m a shoe in for the 2028 Olympics!
I still have a lot of puppy energy so sometimes it takes me a moment to listen. Trusting humans is also something I’m working on. I’m just not quite sure why someone is reaching toward me so I get a little nervous. I don’t mean to cower away from you, but I get a little scared. Once I know you and we build trust together, I will be your best friend! I’m also not 100% confident on walks. There are a lot of strange noises and I get nervous and try to squirm out of my harness. Once I am reassured and know nothing bad will happen, I’ll keep walking though.
I am potty trained and have never chewed anything that I’m not supposed to. I know how to sit and shake and am learning new things every day. I love every dog I’ve ever met too!
I am so thankful that I am learning how to trust again and have a roof over my head. If you have just a little bit of patience with me, I will be loyal to you forever. I really enjoy this thing called “cuddling.” All I really want to do is to be loved and to show you how much I love you too. Time for me to get back to training. Los Angeles Summer Olympics – Here I come!
