Hello! My name is Betty, and I can't wait to meet you and play with you. I am a 43 lb, 10 month old puppy who has a zest for life and a bubbly personality. If a theme song played when I entered the room, it would be "She has Bette Davis Eyes" as my eyes are my defining feature.
I am a very active and playful puppy. I enjoy going on walks and always go potty outside like a good girl, and I LOVE to play with all kinds of toys. Playing "keep away" and "fetch" with my ball is my favorite. Playing with my humans is great fun, but I can also entertain myself. I toss my toys around and run to get them.
I am very curious and smart. I learn fast and I'm a good problem solver. I have impressive use of my paws and can figure out exactly how to "bat" my ball around when it gets stuck under the chair or couch so that it will roll out for me.
I am food motivated and love to eat. My foster parents think I might be opportunistic and steal human food off the counters and tables if I was allowed. I like to jump up and put my paws on the countertops and tables to check everything out, especially when food smells good, but I am learning to stay down and entertain myself during their meals. It's just that pizza smells so good--how can you blame me!
I am incredibly loving and sweet. I enjoy spending time with my humans and will lavish you with kisses and hugs. I also like just hanging out with you and napping on the couch while you watch TV or read.
I have not had interactions with kids or cats. I lived with other dogs in my previous home. I liked some of them, and others I didn’t like. With training and the right other dog, I think I could be a good dog friend.
