Meet Cash (like Johnny )
My name is Cash, and my wonky eyebrow says it all—I’ve got character! The vet says I’m about 2-3 years old, but I’m all puppy, full of energy, and ready to play… until I crash hard for a well-earned nap. I’m a total love bug and happiest when I’m right next to my foster mom.
I’m a small guy, and weigh about 27lbs (they say I’m part Frenchie?), but I’m a great eater (food is life), and treats and peanut butter are my absolute favorites. I’m still working on perfecting my potty training, but I’m improving every day. On walks, I sometimes nibble my leash, especially if I’m feeling overwhelmed—but I’m learning!
Speaking of overwhelmed, I can be a bit like a toddler: when I get overtired, I definitely show it. My foster mom has learned that I do best with shorter, calmer social interactions so I don’t get overstimulated. I’m very smart and already know how to sit on command and I’m really good at playing fetch- it’s my favorite! I do well meeting dogs out in the world, but I haven’t really hung out with other dogs yet. I might do okay with another calm dog.
I would thrive in a home that understands puppy energy and puppy naps. I’m looking for a family that can provide consistent training, structure, and lots of love. Because I can get overwhelmed when overtired, a calmer environment with controlled social interactions will help me succeed. A home that can read my cues, give me breaks when needed, and continue working on leash skills and potty training would be ideal.
I would do best with adopters who have the time and patience to help a growing puppy learn and feel secure—and who don’t mind a loyal shadow who always wants to be close. That being said, if you’re looking for a sweet, goofy puppy who loves hard and naps harder, I might be your guy. -Cash
