Hi everyone – my name is Meatball. I am a short little squatty “Micro-Bully” (the vet thinks maybe American/English Bulldog, a little bit French and a little bit mini pittie) and I weigh a diminutive 35lbs. Although I am small in size, I am big in personality. I love to play with and chase my foster brother and sister, Roscoe (a CEBR alum) and Layla, around the backyard. I don’t do very well catching up to them. They have much longer legs.

Although I am fully grown, my foster parents think I am still very puppy-like in some of my behaviors. I don’t like getting my paws wiped when I come in from outside. We are also working on understanding what are my toys rather than my foster parent’s hands. I need some redirection. I also need to learn to take treats gently. I get so excited that did a good job and earned a treat. I sometimes forget to take it nicely. My forever family needs to be patient with me as I keep learning.

Since I am only 1-2 years old, my foster brother and sister are being good role models for me. They taught me a lot about walking on a leash and going on a walk. I was mostly potty trained when I got to my foster home, but Layla and Roscoe helped remind me where to do my business.

When CEBR rescued me, I came in with a skin condition. The vet gave me some medicine and it is slowly clearing up. I am doing much better. I do want a family that can give me attention. I will follow you around and be your shadow. Then, I will quietly go back to my safe place, my crate. I do love big fluffy beds too.

As you can see in my pictures, I am cute and adorable. My little tongue is often sticking out of my face. I love to give kisses and I am looking forward to finding my forever family! I’d really like to have other dogs in my forever family!
