Welcome to a new kind of rescue.
We are pleased to announce that a new English Bulldog rescue group is now operational in Chicago. Our name is Chicago English Bulldog Rescue, Inc. (CEBR) and you can find us online at http://www.eBullyMatch.com. CEBR has incorporated as a non-profit Illinois corporation, and is in the process of filing for the all so important 501(c)3 tax exempt status with the IRS.
About Us. CEBR is a new venture for the former Northern Illinois Bulldog League Director and volunteers- Molly Marino, Judith Dodd, and Greg Shives. Our goal is to streamline English Bulldog rescue for the Chicagoland and surrounding area to provide extraordinary outcomes for our volunteers, adoptive homes, and most importantly the bulldogs that come into our care.
Through a centralized leadership structure and the implementation of best in class rescue technologies and processes, here is what you can expect from us:
Bullies. The Chicago English Bulldog Rescue, Inc. will serve as an affiliate for the Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network, Inc. (BCARN) and will meet (and exceed!) standards for English Bulldog rescue placements including screening of adoptive homes and assessment of incoming dogs by trained volunteers. Finding the ideal “forever home” for the bullies that enter our care is CEBR’s primary and focused mission.
Adopters. We are commited to timely processing of applications and thorough screening that ensure the optimal “eBullyMatch” between each bully and their new home. Adoptive homes will receive extensive pre and post-adoption attention that is specially tailored to prior experience with the breed. You will even have access to an exclusive online message board to share your experiences and ask questions of other adoptive families and rescuers.
Members. CEBR will offer several membership levels for those of you who are interested in supporting our work and want to be critical contributors to our rescue’s success. Members will receive a quarterly newsletter, event discounts, merchandise discounts, exclusive coupons and other benefits to be announced at our upcoming Membership Drive. Stay tuned!
Volunteers. New opportunities to participate in bulldog rescue based on your interests and time availability with opportunities to creating new owner adoption kits, to conducting phone interviews, community outreach activities, reference checks, home visits, in addition to helping create educational content, and fundraising. CEBR wants volunteering to be a fun and rewarding experience. A new online volunteer network message board will assure that everyone is involved in the rescue experience and shares in the accomplishments of group.
Business Partners. CEBR will make partnerships rewarding for our business partners and the bully's that you help! Through online promotion, in-store events, veterinary clinic partnerships, and co-branding programs, CEBR will aim to increase exposure to our partners and the benefits that they can offer our volunteers and supporters.
