CEBR recently witnessed (and helped rescue dogs) at an all English Bulldog auction! Imagine sweet bullies being sold like livestock to the highest bidders! Who was bidding? Puppy mill breeders of course!
We drove 9 hours and showed up in force to help the dogs that we could. We were able to save four beautiful females from a life of breeding horror -- 24 hours a day spent in crates, pregnant or nursing, and malnourished and abused.

Oct 21st: Bully Bash 2007 Rocked Arabian Knights Farm
165 Bullies and 425 of Their Humans Came Out For Fun!
Bully lovers from Chicago, downstate Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin came out in droves to support CEBR's annual fundraiser - Bully Bash.
Bulldogs ran the agility course, competed in a "try-athlon" and of course, vied for the best costume in our Halloween Costume contest. Plus, their people were able to meet vendors and bully experts to network and gain important information on the breed.
The event raised thousands of dollars for rescue, and will provide much needed funding for the care of dozens CEBR rescue bullies throughout the year.

Join us to kick-off the premier of the new Disney movie "The Game Plan" starring The Rock and an English Bully! Chicago English Bulldog Rescue will be on hand from 1-5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday September 29th and 30th in the main lobby of Muvico's fantastic new theater in Rosemont.
Come meet the bulldogs, see what rescue is all about, and take in a new movie too! Bulldog Rescue "Cleaned Up"!
Dozens of bully owners and lovers from around Chicago showed up to support Chicago English Bulldog Rescue at the Soggy Paws fundraiser September 8th and 9th. Soggy Paws generously donated proceeds from each self-bath that day to CEBR.
In addition, we served up the best doggie banana splits and Sno Cones this town has ever tasted -- and the proceeds also went straight to rescue!
